The RoleThe RoleProject Manager - (Approx 1 year contract) Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a new challenge? Are you looking to work in one of the Middle East’s top locations? Our client is an Oil & Gas Exploration & Production company and they are currently seeking an experienced Projects Manager to be based in their head office. As Projects Manager you will be responsible for: • Leading the PMT organization, in line with company’s vision and rapid expansion plans. • Oversee studies for new projects development and surface facilities. • Develop detailed estimates leading to funding analysis and approval. • Responsible for project development from preliminary engineering to detailed designs, construction, commissioning, and handover to Operations. • Establish project procedures and policies, and oversee contractors’ selection criteria and approvals. • Prepare contracting plans and strategies for solicitation, evaluation and award of contracts for detail engineering, procurement, and construction. • Manage contractor preparation of detailed design drawings, material specifications and procurement, and/or construction bid packages. • Manage all project related activities and provide project leadership during all phases. Execute capital projects according to scope, schedule and budget. |
RequirementsRequirementsCandidates are to be degree qualified in engineering with strong experience of projects management in the upstream oil industry. You will have an in-depth knowledge of engineering standards and industry practices and the ability to coordinate and lead multiple projects. Our client offers a competitive tax free monthly salary of $160,000 - $180,000 per annum plus a full expat package including accommodation allowance, business class flights, 4x4 and medical/healthcare. This is a residential based position and candidates with immediate availability or 1 months notice would be preferred.
