Project Manager (Omani or GCC preferred)
As a Project Manager you will be responsible to project manage Nawras's strategic projects. The project manager will be part of the PMO team and is responsible for applying their project management skills, knowledge and expertise to support projects as directed by CEO Office. The project manager will also be expected to support the PMO team in developing & executing the PMO roadmap and support PMO services to the project management community such as planning & coaching.Â Project Managment:
*Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
*Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
*Develop full-scale project plans including communication plan and risk & mitigation plan
*Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members
*Reporting and tracking key deliverables based on the project plan and process within the responsible functional (s) area(s). This also includes project issues and risks
*Progress Report & escalations to senior managers on the progress of the project
*Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
PMO Support Services
*As a member of PMO team you are also expected to provide a flexible consultancy service to the business by giving coaching sessions and leading planning sessions with other less experienced project managers
PMO Project Managment Development
*As a member of the PMO team you will be expected to participate in strategy session for project management development
*You will also develop and implement best practices and tools for project execution and management in the company
To be considered, you must have a university degree and preferred Project Management Certification. A minimum of 6 years of related working experience in a Telecom Industry is preferred. You should have a thorough understanding of project management techniques, best practices, standards, approaches and tools.
