Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The candidate will be responsible for budgeting, planning, management of resources, achieving targets and timelines, monitoring daily progress and timely financial reporting etc? from start to finishing of the projects. The job is site based and the Candidate must be conversant with standard norms and practices of the construction industry.

Requirements

The Candidate should be a qualified civil engineer with a degree from a reputed University and capable of Managing Road projects anywhere in Sultanate of Oman. The ideal person can be between 30-45 years with minimum 15 years of experience in Roads & Highways and preferably they should have at least 5 years of gulf experience as Project Manager with a reputed company. Good oral and written English is essential.

Plant & Equipment has a major, combined group fleet of more than 3175 no of units of Plant, Transport and Equipment including Static Plants. (Quarry, Concrete, Asphalt, Drilling) to support the Contracting Company Works.

Workshop is full scale, fully equipped, workshops for the maintenance of Heavy & Light Equipment, Transport & Light Duty Vehicles. The Workshops, included a Metal Fabrication, Woodworking machinery facility, Panel Beating Workshop, Bar Bending and Precast Concrete Yard facilities, all with specialized skilled tradesmen. A large Yard area, accommodates the receiving and dispatching, of all types of Material Plant & Equipment and Labour, to the respective sites

Stores is Over 5000 Sq. M. of covered stores area, with modern computerized parts inventory system is available at Rusayl, at the same premises of the Head Office and Workshop, therefore immediate facilitation of stores for spare parts and other Civil and Construction Materials.
