Job description / Role
We are currently representing a region-wide Construction Company across the Middle East. They are recruiting for a Project Manager for a large mixed-use project in Doha, Qatar.
The Project Managers will manage the site supervisory teams and oversee the supervision of works.
This is a permanent position, with a growing player in the market, and a real potential for career progression.
Project Manager responsibilities:
Providing management to the site teams, ensuring that work is consistent with the Contract Documents
Ensuring the site supervisory teams (construction managers, civil engineers, surveyors) are organised and experienced
Overseeing tasks related to QA/QC inspection
Organising construction meetings with subcontractors
Developing the project control system over many subcontractors for different trades
Providing administration direction to site staff
Ensuring construction is carried out in accordance with QA and QC programs.
Planning, organising and scheduling the works.
Requirements
Project Manager requirements
Minimum of 15 years supervisory/management experience
Knowledge of construction and design is required
Mixed-use experience (malls, hotels, high-end finishes)
Proficiency in computer systems and software
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or similar
Arabic speaking is preferred
