The RoleThe Role•Attends Project Coordination Meetings with Clients and Main Contractors and represents all management responsibilities to the parties •Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels •Close working relationship with the Technical, Procurement and Production Departments • To ensure that all primary supplies can be ordered and to establish a working programme/schedule which will be satisfactory to the main contractor •Maintain Project programmes and ensure compliance •Submit progress reports and all contractual correspondence •Monitor variation works and prepare documents for claims • To coordinate all project matters as rectify problems encountered on site installation etc • Manage work by sub-contractors and ensure their schedule and delivery of goods are of good quality and on time •Responsible for all site staff in the assigned project •Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager/Directors |
RequirementsRequirements•Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineer or equivalent with a minimum of 8 to 10 years experience •Curtain Walling experience on major projects •Sound technical, contractual and budgeting knowledge •Flexible during times of change. •Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating. • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. • Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise. • Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. • A long term commitment in Saudi |
