Project Manager

Our Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals business has a global presence operating a network of diverse multi-disciplinary engineering teams of 1,200 staff spanning 17 offices in 11 countries. A vacancy has now arisen in our Abu Dhabi division for an experienced Project Manager to:-

* undertake day-to-day management of the project and all of its multi-discipline activities including the QES System
* agree Scope of Work with the Client
* co-ordinate the issue of drawings and technical documents to the Client and for construction
* establish and maintain project resource requirements
* agree with the Project Director and Divisional Manager of supporting teams the appointment of Team Leaders responsible for the technical and management inputs
* establish Project Control Procedures
* ensure safety protocols are followed at all levels and that ISO standards are met
* lead the Engineering, Construction and HSE teams and manage the engineering required for successful completion of the project by supervising the engineering contractor's and detailed engineering teams' as per schedule & cost
* check sub-consultants' conformance with the Project Plan of Work and procedures
* liaise with the Project Environmental Co-ordinator
* ensure project progress according to schedule
* liaise regularly with the Client to understand their requirements and manage their expectations
* prepare, distribute, implement, review, evaluate and revise the Project Plan of Work and procedures as required
* respond to and take actions from Project Review reports
* arrange and respond to Quality Audits
* ensure change and progress control
* ensure budgetary control
* ensure project records are maintained
* report regularly to the Client on progress
* effectively control Scope of Work and raise Change Notices for any additional Scope of Work
* deputise for the Project Director as authorised

Requirements

Minimum requirements to be eligible to apply for this role are as follows:-

- BSc in Engineering/Construction/Project Management
- 20+ years' experience of Project Management / Engineering/ Construction experience on major Oil Gas projects onshore/offshore.
- 8+ years' recent experience in managing/directing a USD$ 100 million + Oil & Gas projects.
- excellent written, presentation, vernal and client communication skills
- strong commitment to technical excellence and customer service
