Project Piping Specialist

Faststream Recruitment are working with a major NOC, who are looking to source high level talent as part of a large recruitment drive for multiple positions in Saudi Arabia. For each role, our client is seeking applicants who are experts in their field, and can offer a wealth of knowledge and expertise, to help the company become the worlds leading integrated energy company by 2020.

An immediate requirement has arisen for a degree qualified Piping Engineer, to join a Project Management Team in the Kingdom, who are leading the design and operation of several mega projects, each being multi-billion dollar ventures, alongside numerous other Oil & Gas projects.

This role will serve to assist the PMT with technical expertise, being especially adept with Pipe Stress Analysis software such as CAESAR II and NozzlePro, whilst showing excellent abilities with hydraulic calculations and piping engineering deliverables i.e. isometrics, line classes, line designation tables and material selection diagrams. In addition, candidates must be conversant with 3D design tools Intergraph PDS and SmartPlant 3D, and will understand how to manage projects with the use of this software.

Requirements

Applicants ideally will have gained from experience on similar projects, ideally with other global or national operating companies within the industry. A degree is essential, alongside an ability to work within a multinational, multicultural environment, offering a flexible approach to each project.

Working on major Gas Plant, Terminal and Refinery projects, the job holder will be reporting to a project manager, and can expected to be based at several locations, both urban and remote, whilst employed by the company. Work scopes will be covering full life cycle on projects, from FEED to construction and start up. Duties will include progress monitoring, forecasting and reporting, including piping related deliverables with man-hour estimates.
