Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Assist the Project Manager in his set out plan and follow said priorities
- Have knowledge of the Contract and key dates and will bring any issue to the Project Team accordingly
- Coordinates with the entire Project in order to make preliminary & completion programs as required.
- Performs advanced professional work related to variety of planning assignments
- Reviews and processes complex comprehensive plan amendments, rezonings, annexations, site plans
- Performs onboard site inspections to gather data relevant to the development review process and/or to verify that development projects comply with approved plans
- Schedules and conducts meetings with Clients Project team planner
- Conducts extensive research in specific or general project areas
- Writes and presents formal and technical reports, working papers and presentations
- Analyzing production specifications and shop capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements
- Planning and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Planning sequence of assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production departments.
- Determines the status of assigned projects, expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Monitors, analyzes & reports performance to schedule of production & production support activities, utilizing information derived from material and production control systems.
- Ensures all parties are fully cognizant of production status & that work planning and execution objectives are integrated & communicated
- Provide information to the Project Manager or Lead Project Manager leader to ensure that they are prepared for Executive Team meetings
- Perform other jobs related duties as assigned by the section head

Requirements

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in planning or a related field and five years of professional planning experience. Rig experience in repairs/refurbishments is preferred.
- Supervisory experience may be required or preferred
- Advanced knowledge of the philosophies, principals, practices & techniques of planning
- Knowledge and experience in construction processes
- Knowledge of principles, methodology, practices of research and data collection
- Knowledge of effective writing techniques
- Knowledge of computer software programs, including Microsoft Office suite, Project and Primavera

- Ability to attend to details while keeping big-picture goals in mind
