The RoleThe RoleThe purpose of this job is to provide the Business/Service Development function within our division with timely, accurate and relevant analytical and research support. The main responsibilities of the position incumbent are: New Service Development • Support the Business Development Manager in preparing business analysis and research in compliance with the division business plan and overall company corporate objectives • Prepare draft business case studies, presentations and reports, as directed by the Business Development Manager • Collaborate with representatives of Corporate Development and Procurement in researching and assessing new service lines Service Enhancement • Support the Business Development Manager in assessing existing service areas for purposes of identifying appropriate business expansion opportunities • Collaborate with representatives of Corporate Development, Finance and Procurement in reviewing overall performance data associated with existing service lines Service Portfolio Management • Support the Business Development Manager in preparing, presenting and filing business performance reports and analysis of existing services • Assist the Business Development Manager in designing and deploying a performance reporting system covering existing services lines in order to track service delivery, revenue projections and opportunities for business expansion • Collaborate with representatives of Corporate Development, Finance and Procurement in reviewing overall performance data associated with existing service lines |
RequirementsRequirements• A B.Sc. or BA degree in a relevant discipline (preferably Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering) with at least 4 years experience; or a postgraduate qualification with over 2 years experience • Demonstrated familiarity with Government authorities in the UAE • Familiar with the culture, traditions and economy of the UAE Required Competencies • Excellent analytical and presentation skills • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Written and spoken fluency in Arabic and English |
