ABOUT CLIENT:
One of the world's leading Gas industry in Middle East.
JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE :
Member of Project Control team consisting of Planning engineers, Costing engineers, Quantity surveyors and Document controllers headed by Project Control Engineer. The focus is to ensure that the Integrated Schemes Project Planning and Schedule is produced and the progress is updated and reported periodically.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assists the Project Control Engineer in preparation of all required commercial and contractual documentation for engaging consultants and contractors and in preparation of responses to all contractual and commercial matters during tendering, execution and close-out.
2. Carry out project planning and scheduling activities using Primavera Project Planner and/or Microsoft Project. Prepares estimates for activity duration and resource requirements for project.
3. Prepares progress measurement system procedures and carry-out project progress update and supports Project Control Engineer in Project schedule control.
4. Develop, Maintain and update Project schedules (Level-4 schedules) with resource loading and costing.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 12 years experience in construction or major maintenance projects, including minimum 8 years in EPC environment or in Operating Plant in gas processing, oil refining or petrochemical industry.
