The RoleThe RolePosition Summary: The Project Plans Manager has primary responsibility for generating policies, procedures and processes to support the effective management of projects worldwide. Reports directly to the Head of Projects. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: *Generating policies, procedures and processes to support the effective management of projects world wide. *Development of operationally sound, commercially viable operational concepts and plans in support of the Commercial Team and the proposal process *Assist in the development of robust, operationally sound Project Initiation Documents and Project Plans to ensure contractual compliance and the efficient delivery of high quality service. *Supervise and when necessary stand in for the Country Operations managers in their duties. These duties include direct management and oversight of Projects and Project Support Staff ensuring that in accordance with PID instructions and Project Plans, all projects comply with the creation of all management instructions including but not limited to; Rules of Engagement, Standard Operating Procedures, Reports and Returns, Communications and Training Standards required for effective project management. *Development and implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control plans to include the coordination of informal and formal audits. *Liaison with other elements of the Group as required, specifically the Insurance, Welfare, Legal, Communications, Corporate Affairs and Recruitment Divisions in order to ensure effective co-ordination and alignment of policies and procedures. *Being a representative of the Company at any and all functions or locations where such is deemed necessary by the Company. *Providing assistance to the Commercial Department in Client Liaison on current projects and the development of new business. *Being prepared to provide regular and accurate threat / risk assessments in the Company’s Areas of Operation and in potentially new areas of interest in support of the Commercial Department. *Conducting extended deployments into the Company’s areas of operations. |
RequirementsRequirementsHis functional relationships will be focused on a full liaison and co-operation with the Executive, Legal, Finance and Business Development teams within the Group. The candidate should have at least 7-10 years experience on the same or related field,must be holding a bachelor's degree diploma. |
