Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To provide professional health, safety, environmental and security program on the project with the objective of satisfying project client requirements which is in line with companys standard and as required by the law.

The Site Safety Manager will work with contractors and employees to troubleshoot potential hazardous situations, conduct safety audits, provide training and implement safe construction site practices to all involved at site.

Prepare daily reports and monthly summary reports.

Requirements

Possess a Bachelors degree or diploma in technical discipline.
Hold professional certifications like NEBOSH, NVQ, OSHA 30 hours construction,etc.
5 8+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry (at least One year Saudi experience).
NEBOSH Construction Certification or NEBOSH Diploma.
EMS lead auditor/ (ISO 14001).
Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series(OHSAS)18001:2007 auditor/ lead auditor.
Experience in management of construction site occupational health and safety with the objective of ensuring zero fatalities and reducing lost time incidents.
Willingness and ability to manage comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs.
Willingness and ability to lead site personnel to comply with companys and clients occupational health and safety rules and requirements.
Thorough knowledge Saudi and Middle East occupational health and safety legislation and regulations.
Specialized knowledge in an area of health, environmental, and safety programs.
Willingness and ability to provide direction and consultation on various health, safety, and environmental issues.
Prior experience developing and implementing programs, policies, and procedures; interpreting and applying department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations, facilitating and resolving sensitive health, safety, and environmental questions and concerns; and working as a member of a management team.
PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applicable applications.
Exceptional communication skills.
