Project Sales Manager - Building Materials, Kitchen & Doors And Marble & Granite

Coordinating the preparation and submission of proposals / tenders for the Organization. For identified proposals, the Project Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the development and approval of the tender and the submission to the client and subsequent follow up. This will involve essentially project managing the bid development by seeking input from appropriate personnel and preparing the bid document. As part of this process, it will involve managing the proposal budget and ensuring that corporate approval and review processes are followed.

Managing the review of all opportunities across the Organization. The Project Sales Manager, through his activities, is responsible for standard sections such as The Organization capability, developing and maintaining quality standardized material that can be used for all proposals in The Organization, not just for major proposals.

Ensuring proposals follow corporate approval processes and documentation requirement. Ensuring that the pursuit strategy / bid/no bid / risk review processes are followed and appropriate reviews are held in a timely manner. Participate in business strategy formulation and implementation. Liaise with Marketing Manager, providing market intelligence and coordinating the corporate and local plans for each market segment Negotiate with selected major potential clients and provide marketing and sales support facilities to management to ensure they have a competitive edge when negotiating major sales and contracts Quality Assurance - responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Organization.

Job Specific Knowledge:
1. Strong financial skills with demonstrable commercial acumen and a record of achieving superior negotiated outcomes
2. Analytical skills appropriate to step-by-step preparation of bids, requiring simultaneous eye for detail skill and big picture decision making, at times under extreme time pressure
3. Project Management or Project Engineering experience is required
4. Essential to have an experience and understanding of the business development environment and the interplay between contract, operations and commercial outcomes
5. Advance personal presentation and communication styles and methods to establish credibility and communicate information and ideas effectively and appropriately
6. Excellent English/Arabic language skills, particularly written skills
7. Demonstrates the confidence and flexibility to accept, embrace and initiate change and work under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment
8. Confidently uses or guides the use of lateral thinking to formulate innovative solutions to business problems
9. Identifies opportunities for improvement in services products and systems and constructively challenges assumptions and established mindsets.
10. Planning and scheduling of engineering projects would be an advantage

Requirements

- University Qualifications: Graduate with relevant qualifications
- Nature and length of previous experience: 7 + Years in the relevant field.
- Gender Preference: Male
- Language Fluency: English, Arabic
- Soft Skills and Personality traits: Leadership Ability, Good Negotiator, Pleasing & Well Behaved)
