Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The main goal of this role is to manage and promote the Sadolin and other AkzoNobel brands, where applicable, within Oman and (inter GCC) via consultants, architects, main contractors and painting contractors in all segments of the project market.

Main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Secure and manage projects
• Develop, manage and lead the project sales team in Oman
• Responsible for specification and project sales development
• Sell products to maximize profitability, as per agreed sales budget. GM/GP and average selling price per litre.
• Manage the relationships with all direct/industrial customers & clients
• Assume responsibility for collecting receivables from the customers
• Participate in the monthly GCC specification team meetings
• Implement and comply with HSE and other company policy at all times
• Handle customer complaints
• Keep records and submit weekly and monthly written reports
• Organizing seminars, application training and new product launches to customer groups.

Requirements

The successful candidate is a graduate in Business/Technical subject. You have at least 5 – 8 years of experience in project sales.

You are a confident and clear communicator with team management skills. Ideally you will have a trusted track record in the market.

You are proficient in English. Communication skills in Arabic will be a distinct advantage. You are fully conversant in MS Office. A GCC driving license is a must.
