The RoleThe RoleOman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP) is an upstream Oil & Gas company based in the Sultanate of Oman. OOCEP has numerous assets and diversified interests in Oil & Gas exploration and production both inside and outside Oman. Overview Oman Oil Company Exploration & Production LLC (OOCEP) is currently seeking to appoint a Project Services Lead for our growing organization. Reporting to the Facilities Project Manager the role will be based in Muscat - Sultanate of Oman. Development of project control procedures and systems and updating the same. Development of project cost estimate, project budget, business plan and tracking the same. Development and updating of package level schedules and integration of schedules at project level. Developing and maintenance of progress monitoring and measurement systems. Management of project changes and project decisions. Identification and management of project risks and risk register. Overseeing the contract engineering, contractor award functions and administration of awarded contracts. Interfacing with companys different work centres, contractors, suppliers, third party agencies for the project progress monitoring. A primary interface between project management team with construction, finance, human capital, corporate communication, contractors, and suppliers. Contractor invoice verification and processing for payment. Implementation of companywide oracle ERP system for project management modules. Timely reporting on the status of the project progress with effective communication system and forewarning the top management and stakeholders on project risks and concerns. Planning and development of project IT requirements and management of softwares. Project level resource planning, training requirements and staffing level. Developing a strong, dedicated and highly motivated project team and nationalisation. Management of contract close out, lesions learned, documentation. Team building and talent recognition process. Providing specialist services of project estimation, scheduling, risk analysis to companys other developmental projects and portfolios as and when required. |
RequirementsRequirements Degree in engineering with project management certifications from PMI or AACEI or APM or business management diploma /degree. Minimum 15 years of years in project controls or project management in Oil & gas environment in E&P companies / EPC/ Engineering firms. Hands on and supervisory experience in cost estimation, cost control and scheduling on major oil and gas projects of over $500 million. Well versed with MS office, Primavera P3, pertmaster, @risk, Documentum, ERP platforms like oracle, SAP, JDE. Strong flair of systems and procedures, Excellent communication skills of English and man management skills. Good Team player with proactive and flexible attitude. Strong Business acumen and sound commercial & finance knowledge. |
