Employment: Full Time

The Project Specialist is responsible for developing and continuously improving inter-departmental and cross-departmental processes and driving their efficiency and automation. The incumbent is also responsible for assuring quality for various processes, policies and procedures for Sidra.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develops and implements the Activation Management Department plans in line with Sidra objectives
- Develops and implements strategies to support various departmental processes and procedures in driving their efficiency.
- Manages assigned mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards within and across departments.
- Interprets and implements necessary changes, providing guidance and support required for continuous improvement
- Supports the Policy Steering Committee during change management decisions.
- Ensures the timely completion of Project initiatives, process automation and innovation activities as determined by management, working groups, and committees
- Develops and Implements new procedures to improve the quality and quantity of work processed within the department and assists the Director Office of Activation Management in conducting the change management with emphasis on quality, efficiency and time management.
- Participates in the development of any projects and innovation needs at Sidra and coordinates with the information technology, HR, finance, procurement and other teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation
- Identifies new ideas/approaches to improve the current project processes and recommends industry standards trends to Director Office of Activation Management.
- Assists the Director - Office of Activation Management to develop procedures and practices which promote the adoption of appropriate solutions and sustainability of desired results in highly complex environments
- Suggests efficient and cost-effective approaches to integrate technology into the workplace and improve program effectiveness
- Participates in the development of strategies using new technology to enhance decision making by understanding the impact of technological and process changes on the organization
- Assists in formulating highly complex and effective strategies for business improvement with both a long-term, and short-term perspective
- Highlights any potential risks or opportunities to the Director - Office of Activation Management
- Drives processes automation and manages automation tools to reduce cycle time of processes and reduce defects
- Ensures all department processes have clearly defined KPIs that are measurable and accurately reflect process performance
- Implements quality audits/assessments to validate compliance with approved process and quality standards
- Designs quality control measures and embeds them in various department processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Adheres to Sidras standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies

In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during this pre-operational phase, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of experience in assuring and controlling quality for various sector processes, policies and procedures, process automation in a large complex and matrix organization
- Relevant certifications in business process re-engineering and Lean Six Sigma
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles and processes for quality management
- Excellent knowledge of health care processes, procedures and policies
- Demonstrated knowledge of process automation and related tools
- Demonstrated skillas as a change management catalyst
- Strong knowledge on industry wide business practices and quality management principles
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- Strong cross - functional collaboration and relationship management ability
- Proficiecy with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency in written and spoken English
