Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Project Specialist must be a polished assistant, who knows and understands international business. Must possess the leadership skills necessary to ensure that the daily operations of Methodist International (MI) are efficient, productive, and aligned with corporate goals and reputation.

Main Responsibilities:

1.Provides word processing and other office technology support to department staff. Composes, proofs, types, and distributes routine letters, memorandums, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and related materials to assure timely routine or answering of correspondence.
2.Works as part of consulting project teams and provides necessary duties and tasks assigned by the consulting project lead.
3.Organizes and maintains department files.
4.Assembles, prepares and distributes materials for meetings to provide all attending with appropriate information.
5.Organizes and expedites the flow of work through the administrative offices in a timely manner to assist in alleviating the executive workload.
6.Takes minutes of meetings as requested.
7.Demonstrates the components of the I CARE values statement and complies with Business Practices standards for performance.
8.Demonstrates all safety rules while on the job. Reports accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards.
9.Acts as a project manager if needed for certain projects
10.Other duties as assigned

Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in healthcare or business.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of direct experience with corporate companies.
Project Assistance/ project coordination experience strongly preferred.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to speak at least one foreign language, preferably Arabic.
Strong leadership skills.
PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency
Ability to deal with multinational clients on all levels and to coordinate with physicians and service providers to achieve superior results.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Strong accounting or financial background.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
No significant physical activity required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Normal office setting.
Must be able to travel extensively when required.
Fast pace environment
