Al Futtaim's Automotive Division have formed a new division under its umbrella, ALAC, this will incorporate the tyres and batteries division, workshop equipment division and body shop division. This new service division will be one of a kind in the UAE offering end to end solutions for commercial and retail customers alike.We are looking to identify a Projects & Business Development Manager who will assist ALAC  Management and department heads in the day to day running and setting up of  new business/ workshops to its completion both overseas and locally. The main function is to ensure that all projects undertaken by ALAC are delivered to the highest levels of safety, productivity and efficiency.

The main responsibilities include:

* Conduct time and motion studies on all aftersales operations to ensure a sustainable growth in productivity and efficiency.
* Mapping of all aftersales processes to ensure compliance to standards and promotion Kaizen groups to enhance operational efficiency and solve operational obstacles.
* Introduce a project management culture within the aftersales divisions, to ensure the accurate execution of the Plan, Do, Check and Action cycle.
* The successful introduction of new Toyota Motor Corporation efficiency programs to enhance efficiencies/overall productivity within the workplace.
* Support the network and business development team to ensure the successful introduction of process quality gates to ensure accurate systems and customer data for the whole Aftersales Operation.
* Knowledgeable and up-to-date in matters relating to Health & Safety and statutory requirements and ensure compliance at all times.
* Support the Facility Project Manager with the set-up and layout of all new and existing facilities within the United Arab Emirates & overseas.
* Assist divisional heads in the preparation of detailed AFE's and ensures the project is completed as per the projections put forth in the AFE.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.

Requirements

The selected candidate will have the following qualification, skills and attributes;

* PMI or Project Management Degree or Diploma or similar qualification and experience ensuring understanding of project management and project control
* A Bachelor Degree in a related field
* Understanding of training and Organisational Change Management (OCM) principles
* Minimum of 5 years in Process Studies in any organization particularly in Automotive industry.
* Experience with project management methodologies.
* A demonstrated understanding of cost estimating and budget projections
* Extensive experience in developing systems and processes (Process Mapping)
* A demonstrated understanding of automotive companies including Parts, Service, Units and Logistics is preferable.
