Job description / Role
• Participate in contract negotiation and formation
• Assist in the bidding process including project costing and planning with the HR, Finance, Area Manager & PSC units
• Work closely with the Area & Project managers to ensure the progress is as per the set plan, time line and doesn’t exceed the budget
• Prepare weekly reports to DGM on the work progress, delay and variance vs. requirements
• Improve the current methods to handle the projects’ managements & participate in designing project costing solutions in the Oracle system
• Attend meetings with the major clients along with the DGM and the area managers
• Provide new development initiatives with our operation areas to optimize the process & increase the efficiency
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and PMP certificate
2. A total experience of 8 years with contracting/construction companies in GCC with a minimum of 2 years experience on a managerial level - experience within the coating & Insulation could be an advantage
3. Excellence experience in costing and planning
4. Demonstrated experience working with E.P.C. suppliers
5. Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP - Oracle
7. Results oriented and have high business expertise
8. Willingness to travel on a regular basis
9. Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development
