Job description / Role
Analyze the RFQ and Specifications and recommend quote / no quote.
In case decision to quote, then propose optimum solution (with support of design engineer).
Prepare complete offer in the standard presentation format.
Prepares tenders either internally or by coordinating with design engineer or back offices (i.e. RCC, REU, PEC, UK, licensed panel builders).
Supports Salesmen for all influence/specification issues.
Revise the offers to accommodate client’s comments whenever required.
Monitor and review the jobs assigned to him for timely completion and quality of services.
Keep track of expected projects (targeted projects) in consultation with Tendering Engineers and sales.
Control reliability of the quotations (prices, contractual conditions and gross margin).
Update and improvement of quotation tool in coordination with Tenders Team Leader.
Calculate the prices as per the guidelines and procedures.
Participate in Techno-commercial discussions with Customer along with Sales for finalizing the contract.
Prepare contract review and participate in Project Launch.
Contact vendors outside Schneider for non standard components whenever required.
Respond to customer queries.
Assess within the team the tools, methods and competencies and propose all necessary improvements and changes.
Requirements
Graduate in Electrical Engineering.
Not less than 5-7 years Experience in Tendering or Contract Mgt of MV / LV Equipment and Packages.
Knowledge in MV/LV equipments, with specific focus on MV products/equipments such as MC Set, Ronex, RM6/Ringmaster, GenieEvo, SM6 or similar type of equipment.
Good knowledge of financial aspects and CCO.
Gulf Experience would be a plus.
Very good knowledge / experience in Commercial risks.
Very good knowledge / experience in planning and logistics aspects.
Fluency in English, Arabic and French would be a plus.
Hands on experience in Microsoft office and Tendering Tools.
Knowledge of ERP system would be a plus.
