Public Affairs Specialist

Job description / Role

Support the development of Company;s public affairs strategy and plans to promote vision, mission and image to key stakeholders and government departments.
Responsible for effective communication with
1. Public Affairs Manager
2. Public & Governmental Affairs Director
3. Internal Functions/Departments/Divisions
4. Marketing & Sales Department

Requirements

1. Assist in developing, implementing and managing company’s corporate identity and image by way of managing public messaging, market positioning, and brand identity.
2. Implement PR efforts related to promoting and protecting the company image and reputation as per the company guidelines.
3. Manage communication channels and media outlets to ensure the proper image of company is being conveyed to internal and external stakeholders.
4. Communicate any changes or new policies, regulations or procedures, to employees, the press and the general public.
5. Plan and implement activities and work pertaining to company's exhibitions and sponsorships in local and international events and exhibitions
6. Prepare material for events (PR events, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, lectures, presentations and web based material etc.) to promote the activities and initiatives of company to the stakeholders.
7. Evaluate the activities of external advertising and Public Relations agencies to maintain the desired image of company.
8. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.
