PR Account Manager
We are currently recruiting an Arabic speaking PR Account Manager for a corporate communications agency based in Dubai. Candidates must have B2B PR account management experience gained in the Gulf region, preferably the UAE and be living in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development of public relations strategies to establish brand identity and positioning for SMEs
- Developing sales proposals and tenders for new business opportunities and growing existing accounts
- Developing PR budgets for clients
- Developing innovative PR campaigns for print, TV, radio and online media through research and planning and creating annual media plans in compliance with clients PR and brand policies and procedures
- Overseeing the service delivery of campaigns to ensure that they meet the clients requirements and meeting deadlines
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of campaigns
- Writing press releases and corporate communications
- Developing relationships with media representatives and sponsors to leverage PR opportunities
- Organization and attendance of PR events and media briefings
- Preparation of management reports for clients and internal use
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication or Journalism
- Proven experience as a client facing PR Account Manager working with a small to medium sized B2B PR agency in the Gulf region, preferably the UAE
- Ability to develop business proposals, communication plans, press materials
- Working experience of visual communications, digital and social media platforms
- Proven ability in handling media and public relations
- Proven experience of developing clear systems and processes to ensure the smooth operations of accounts
- Ability to manage client billings and budgets
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential
