GMASCO enjoys an enviable reputation as the Gulf's most diverse full service communications, marketing and advertising agency in an industry typified by current decline, over-specialisation and lack of integration in other markets. Our Dubai location positions us in a still growing market at the hub of business in the northern hemisphere with a client base operating in more than 15 countries across the Middle East, Europe, the Sub Continent and Asia. Our offerings include every aspect of communications, advertising and marketing in traditional and new media formats.We are currently looking to recruit a Public Relations Manager to work from our Dubai based offices. Playing an important role in communicating the Company's policy, you will be required to:

* Plan and direct public relations programmes designed to create and maintain a favourable public image for employer or client, prepare estimates; & ensue profitability in terms of viable return on investments
* Conceptualise  and plan PR campaigns  with strategies arid action plans
* Strong liaison with local and regional media
* Managing internal (team) and external (client) expectations
* Monitor Arabic and English media
* Ensure time-lines are strictly met

Research, write press releases and ensure they reach the target media

* Organise press conferences, exhibitions and press tours
* Manage the Company's publicity strategies via the press
* Draft speeches on behalf of the Company's top executives for public meetings
* Arrange and manage interviews with journalists and specific spokespeople
* Develop internal and external communications strategies for clients which will support their marketing and business plan
* Liaise with Event Managers
* Deal with third party suppliers
* Coordinate and conceptualise PR strategies

In additional you will manage special events and liaise with third party service providers in order to gain public attention through the media without advertising directly, draft speeches for company executives, and arrange interviews and other forms of contact for them.

To apply for this role you should have the following skills, experiences and qualifications;

* At least five years experience in recognised PR and Media Relations organisation (preferably Gulf)

* Fluent in both English and Arabic
* A bachelors degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or communications from a recognised university
* Excellent presentation skills
* Ability to think out of the box and react quickly
* Solid understanding of how the media works
* Managerial and communications skills
* Pro-activeness in generating new ideas

In order to succeed in this position you need to have a strong ability to identify main client groups and audiences and determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them.
We are looking for someone who can write interesting and effective press releases, prepare information for media kits and develop and maintain the company's corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage.
