Job description / Role
Salary: QR 45,000 – 50,000
A luxury retail group based at their headquarters in Qatar are looking to hire a Public Relations and Marketing Manager to oversee and manage their group PR, Marketing and Corporate Communications. Responsible for developing, establishing and setting the public relations and marketing strategies of the group, while aligning the policies and procedures of the organization to meet the Brand Principles requirements. The Manager will promote group businesses across all means of media including corporate, external and internal communications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing and PR strategies using a combination of entertainment, marketing, public relations, media, and events to generate Brand awareness and drive sales.
Conduct and oversee market research to determine market requirements for existing and future marketing and Branding campaigns.
Expand and develop marketing platforms, negotiate marketing support from principals, control and maximize annual marketing and communications budget to deliver strategic marketing and sales goals.
Manage and report the outcomes of the productivity plans and projects develop new strategies, deliver timely and insightful presentations to GM, Top Level Management and Sales Teams.
Ensure compliance with all principals CI (Corporate Identity) guidelines across all customer touch points. Oversee business development activities to deliver set goals.
Develop and execute layout of products, material and marketing collateral in line with marketing and PR objectives and ensure production of the same.
Coordinate with Marketing Staff and Sales teams in regards to latest press kits and advertising to be conducted.
Oversee internal and external corporate communication activities, manage and negotiate with Advertising and PR Agencies. Manage the partnerships with approved suppliers relating to Marketing.
Maintain coordination with stakeholders to ensure full awareness of forthcoming collections / styles and communications opportunities sponsorships / display activity, etc. as required.
Create, update and maintain the marketing and PR calendar for all promotional initiatives.
Maintain effective working relationships and contracts with key external parties, such as vendors, mall, management, brand principles, etc.
Requirements
The successful candidates will have:
Can work independently.
5 years or more of Public Relations & Marketing experience in the luxury retail market.
Excellent commercial understanding across fashion and lifestyle, including remaining well informed and up to date with new media.
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams.
Ability to oversee multiple projects adapting to changing priorities as necessary.
Good corporate communications writing and financial reporting skills.
Good understanding of competitive positioning, management of commercial processes, and maximisation of business opportunities.
