Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Will be in direct contact with all Government Departments and should have good working relationships with all departments at the senior level as well as counter level so as to ensure all official formalities are completed on time.
2. Ensure that all visa applications such as Visit, Employment, work permits and labor cards are presented and completed on time in order to comply with Government laws and regulations.
3. Ensure all license applications, official approvals and permits are followed up properly and permits are followed up properly to avoid unnecessary violations.
4. Co-ordinate with government authorities to adhere with the new rules. Develop relationships with government departments in order to ensure issues are resolved diligently.
5. Maintain updated copies of all laws and regulations that relate to the staff and ensure that any change in these regulations are reported to the HR Manager and incorporated into company policies and procedures.
6. Process documents such as trade license, attestation of rent contracts and the like in government offices such as Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of Economics/Finance/ Customs/Court and Traffic departments.
7. Maintain database showing status of employees residence, employment status information such as visas, residence permits showing names, departments, expiry dates, renewal dates, passports expiry etc and any other necessary information.
8. Prepare monthly reports on activities and issues arising during the month and when necessary.

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline
- Proficient in Arabic and English
- Extensive knowledge of U.A.E Labor law
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good contacts within government sector
