Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Assist employees and their families in visa, work-permit and other regulatory procedures. Assist in filling out and submitting various forms to the ministry for residence permits, labor cards, and all other legal activities. Apply for renewal of visa when applicable. Update employee salaries and job titles registered with JAFZA when required. Custom clearance, driving and assist in banking (cheque drop-off/pick-up).

Responsibilities:
- Employment visa applications/cancelations and labor card applications/cancelations of hired staff, assisting to obtain all required documents of business travel visas for staff and office visitors
- Ensure that all foreign/international assignee employees of the company have required legal documentation e.g., visas, work-permit, attested documentation
- Support staff in filling out various forms (eg., Emirates ID)
- Maintain data of all employment visas and apply for visa renewal/cancelation whenever necessary
- Proactively identify regulatory procedures in middle east for any work-force/legal requirements
- Assist staff in the residence visa sponsorship for family/maid of employees
- Registration of company cars
- Renewal of office documents (trade license, P.O. Box, Chamber of Commerce, representative card, labor card, firm card, etc.)
- Special support to international assignees: renewal of passport, driving license, legal documents
- Collection and delivery of urgent/valuable business related items
- Customs clearance when required
- Pick-up and drop off of VIPs

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Time management and organizational skills with a structured approach to tasks (manage a diverse and demanding workload within tight deadlines and capacity)
- Knowledge of various government official procedures, local laws
- Professional & Interpersonal skills: High communication skills
- Valid UAE driving licence
- Full command of written and spoken English and Arabic
- Intercultural competencies
- Excellent people management skills, customer focused familiar with working with a range of partners, both internal and external
- Understanding of UAE Labor Law legislation
- Be adaptable and enthusiastic to improve the capacity of the role and to move forward
- Microsoft Office knowledge especially MS Excel and Outlook

Qualifications:
- Work experience: 3 5 years experience as a Public Relations Officer in the UAE
- Industry experience
- Education: bachelor degree in any subject, excellent writing and reading skills
