Public Relations Officer - FAMCO - Oman

The company's development and success has been based on an in-depth understanding of customer needs and the dedication of its skilled staff.The main focus of this role is to effectivelywork with Public/Government deparments for matters relating to employee registration and deregistration, vehicle registration, ROP issues and any court and municipality requirements. Also to developing relationships within the appropriate Government, ROP and external authorities to support thesmooth running of the business.

The main responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
* To work closely with all departments within the business to ensure all documents are submitted in a timely manner and records maintained
* To support the business by working closely with the labour courts and othergovernment offices
* Support the business in Trade License applications, applications to various ministries and other agencies
* Follow up on the documents submitted and advise the feedback
* Update the business of the changes, if any, in labour laws, immigration rules, etc
* Meet and greet the new joinees andassist in their induction
* Support in the cancellation of staff
* Maintain proper details of expenses through smart card, cash, etc
* Carry out all registration and renewal activities with regard to signboard, agencies, etc

Requirements

* Minimum 6 years experience in a similar position
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to navigate, diplomatically influence, and work effectively with clients
* Excellent planning and organizing
* Strong problem solving
* Relationship Building
* Team player across all business functions
