Public Relations Specialist

Job description / Role

Our client is a major player in the luxury segment of the automotive industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to represent a world renowned brand. These opportunities do not come up very often and they are currently looking for a Public Relations Specialist.

• Drive + support importer PR planning + reporting, including managing and reviewing importer PR plans + milestones, on-going PR evaluation +measurement against set KPIs
• Conceptualize and manage local and regional press events, support international events
• Edit/revise press releases
• Write importer guidelines, management speeches, Q&A’s
• Cooperate with importers’ offices to provide toolkits and develop PR campaigns in line with hub office strategy, ensuring consistency in quality and messaging
• Source information, take briefs and arrange approvals - level of self-reliance is expected
• Act as the main day-to-day link between PME and the PR agency team
• Ongoing enhancement of communication guidelines and manuals
• Management and supervision of motorsport PR activity
• Management of media monitoring agency and supervision of PR intern who manifests monthly clipping report for Middle East region
• Quarterly and annual evaluations of coverage levels
• Managing the Porsche test-drive programme, including fleet utilization, personal hand-over to media
• Managing regional editorial content for Porsche customer magazine.
• Build a strong network, expanding media and industry contacts.

Requirements

To be considered for this role:

• University Degree
• 3-5 years working experience in communications
• Confident
• High attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and time management
• Independent working style
• Sensible with confidential information
• Confident presence(hosting media, dealing with senior management)
• Confident speaker and presenter in meetings
• Able to represent company in front of media at events
• Think strategically and creatively with solid experience in communications and
• event management
• Must have meticulous attention to detail and a highly organized approach
• Proven ability to conceptualize and implement communications programmes,
• manage teams and budgets
• Event management experience
• Regular travel required
• Professional in English(native language or working abroad)
• Arabic and/or French language skills preferred
