Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is looking to hire a purchasing Executive :

Responsibilities:

- Raising and sending enquiries to vendors
- Coordinating with suppliers by raising enquiries, Purchase orders and receipt of materials
- Follow–up on all orders placed
- Analyzing the purchase requirements
- Coordinate to organize timely delivery of material to the ship
- Developing and maintaining systems to procure material Cost reduction
- Alternate vendor development
- Responsible for timely processing of the bills
- Ensure that all the bills are logged at accounts by understanding the statutory implications to do
- Follow all established systems
- Maintenance of purchase records
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Company from time to time

Requirements

- Relevant degree is required
- Materials Management Experience
- Min.of 3-5 years
- Experience in shipping industry preferred
- Very Good Command of English
- Very good Communication skills
- Age Preferred : 30-40
