Job description / Role
Job Summary:
- Act as a contact point for all procurement related activities between suppliers and concerned departments and ensure that orders are placed in most efficient manner.
Duties (includes but not limited to):
1. Reviews auto create screen on Oracle to accept/ reject requisitions by verifying completeness under his/ her responsibilities.
2. Analyzes items history to verify specific details. i.e.: brand name, possible suppliers, etc.
3. Prepares request for quotation to meet purchasing category & user requirement through Oracle application.
4. Conducts necessary negotiations with suppliers regarding items, conditions, delivery and prices.
5. Reviews purchase requests and communicate with the requesting departments to clarify incomplete information.
6. Reviews and analyzes proposals/ quotations for purpose of determining which vendors are responsive to the requirements of the solicitation and are with competitive range.
7. Prepare all necessary documents. i.e.: Contract, L.C, etc.
8. Generates and issues purchase orders.
9. Generates and issues Releases for Blanket Purchase Orders.
10. Reports to the supervisor any work- related problems or issues.
11. Help and support with Purchasing Coordinator with any work- related problems.
12. Follows Group, Department policies and procedures.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Local market.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Arabic Speakers are preferable.
* Very good computer skills.
* If not Saudi, sponsorship transfer is "MUST".
