Employment: Full Time

Basic Functions

Manages and directs the activities of Purchase Department within the stated policies and objectives of the Company.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensures that adequate stocks are maintained at all times and alternative reliable suppliers are always available as a contingency.
• Maintains healthy working relations with all suppliers. Develops alternative contingency sources in event of potential supply problem.
• Reviews and regularly monitors the declaration of raw materials intended for customs duty exemption. Consequently, ensures that such materials are conforming to specifications and approved quantities.
• Continuously seeks ways to improve the quality, price and delivery of products purchased.
• Keeps abreast of current polypropylene market situation and other crucial raw materials to anticipate price trends and recommends strategic purchases.
• Reviews and approves the Purchase order terms & conditions, payment and delivery terms; in accordance with the company's best interest.

Requirements

Education & Qualification

• B.A in Business Management or equivalent.
• 5-10 years experience in Purchasing.
• Fluent English language.
• Can work under pressure
• Good negotiation skill
• Able to determines sources , negotiates price and confirms order in compliance with Purchasing Policy and Procedure.
