Purchasing Manager Group
Salary: up to AED 50,000 based on experience plus family status benefits
Location: Dubai, UAE

Our Client is a family-owned Group of Companies that has evolved at a pace that matches the progress of the United Arab Emirates.
Their interests include Automotive industrial and commercial, Real Estate, Hospitality, Travel and Finance

For more than 50 years their world class brands have been introduced into the UAE market

As a result of future strategic plans and growth forecasts, they are seeking a highly
competent and professional Purchasing Manager, reporting to the acting CEO, to join
the team at Group Level

Key Role
Manage all procurement related activities for the Group

Key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Purchasing of Real Estate related product and services.
Procurement of equipment and accessories with regards to construction, heavy duty Automotive and IT systems.
Responsible for purchasing of MEP equipment, service contracts and logistics.
Manage a team of administration and finance staff.
Oversee supply chain where necessary.
Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and stock levels.
Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
Liaison between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
Identify potential suppliers and maintain good relationships.
Negotiate and agree on service contracts and monitor their progress, checking quality of service provided.
Process payments and invoices.
Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
Assess the current purchasing strategy, policy and systems for effectiveness and propose any necessary changes if required.

Requirements

Diploma in CIPS or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years experience in a procurement role of which a minimum of 3 years at senior level.
General auditing experience within a large organization.
Knowledge or experience within a start up / change management or restructure environment would be a great advantage.
High level of leadership and managerial skills.
Experience with in the GCC is essential.
Candidates currently in the UAE would be an advantage.
