Purchasing Manager

Job description / Role

- Managing procurement data, organizing a proper recording system and ensuring buffer stock levels in coordination with internal customers.
- Manage contracts with the vendors.
- Manage, develops, maintains and controls the flow of purchasing procedures.

Requirements

- Graduate of an accredited college or university in Commerce with Bachelor in Business Administration or Accounting.
- Diploma or Certificate in Purchasing or Material Management highly desirable.
- With at least 3-5 years of hospital experience on the same position.
- Minimum Five (5) years experience as Purchasing Manager in medium size services business preferably in hospitals.
- Ability to manage time effectively in fast paced environment.
- Program planning and show great leadership skills, skill in budgeting cost estimating and fiscal management principles and procedures, knowledge of computer systems and applications, strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community and must have ability to develop, plan and implement short and long term goals.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Spoken Arabic is desirable.
