Job description / Role
• Conducts comprehensive market research using various sourcing techniques;
• Conducts due diligence of identified sources and facilitate their pre-qualification with TWI;
• Prepares bidder lists and releases request for quotations;
• Expedites and collects offers from respective bidders;
• Prepares bid tabs and analytically evaluates proposal for complex or high dollar items;
• Carries aggressive negotiations with suppliers with intention to provide additional discount or other favorable terms;
• Complies with the established deadlines;
• Prepares proposal packages recommending a source for respective products;
• Issues Blanket Purchase Agreements to the suppliers for approved products and suggests changes to the BPA when applicable;
• Processes orders in ERP and updates other software applications maintaining data integrity;
• Coordinates purchasing activities with other departments such as Logistics and Finance;
• Expedites orders and coordinates material collection between the suppliers and transporters;
• Establishes and maintains strong business relationship with suppliers;
• Anticipates and proactively elevates potential challenges/problems;
• Engages in problem solving
• Maintains integrity of electronic files;
• Follows procurement policies and procedures;
• Complies with Code of Business Ethics and Conduct;
Requirements
• Profound knowledge of product specifications, functionalities and applications
• Excellent analytical skills to include price comparisons, variance calculations
• Strong negotiation skills
• Fluent in applicable IT systems/software
• Problem solving skills
• Works well with peers and seldom seeks collaborative solutions;
• Coaches others and seeks to learn from others to better perform own tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Russian
• University degree in business related discipline;
• Recognized Certifications in Procurement/ Supply Chain are preferred;
• 3 + years experience Procurement/Supply Chain with emphasis on procurement of high complex and/or high value orders;
• Proven records for purchasing activities in Central Asia and involvement in high importance and complex projects;
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills;
• Product and market knowledge in Central Asia States;
• Personal commitment and persistence in achieving results;
• Team player, flexibility, strong work ethics and ability to handle stress and work in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced computer and analytical skills;
• Fluent English
• Must have fluent Russian
