Purchasing Specialist

Job description / Role

A highly- coveted position has arisen within a world-class manufacturing company based in Oman, for an experienced Buyer/Purchasing Professional with Chemical/Feedstock procurement experience to join their purchasing team.

As the Buyer you will play a strategic role in ensuring that all materials for manufacturing are purchased at the most competitive prices worldwide. The Buyer will specify the strategic source for materials in order to ensure a consistent approach to maximise spending power.

Requirements

You will be somebody with solid buying/purchasing experience and be from a manufacturing background, preferably having purchased Feedstock, Petrochemical &/or Chemical.

You will have a proven track record of strategic purchasing and have a strong understanding of quality standards and international sourcing.
