Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity to work for an International software company is looking for an experienced, creative and motivated programmers to work in a fast-paced, innovative and expanding offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Job Responsibilities:
- Convert legacy application to new technologies using third party tools
- Development and maintenance of code artifacts with minimum help
- Code Debugging and problem resolution
- Improve and maintain code and other artifacts
- Participate in conference calls between onsite and offshore teams
- Update documentations/developer-manuals w.r.t lessons learnt and best practices
- Responsible for delivery of code artifacts as per schedule
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience using Python 2.7
- Must be very familiar with development in a Unix environment
- Experienced using Unix shell scripting, Perl and Rubika
- Knowledge and experience using C++, Java, Ruby, Perl
- Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other technical degree
