QA Engineer

Job description / Role

We have provided Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services, Construction, and Technical Support Services (TSS) to clients in the energy and resources sectors for more than 90 years.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Report to QA/QC Manager
- Complete assignments on time; work to due dates
- Foster a teamwork environment
- Promote continuous improvement, efficiency improvement and advance QA capability within the company
- Perform quality reviews of technical documents, such as engineering drawings
- Develop and review ITPs Transfer Project scopes of work into QA/QC action Plans
- Support QA Audit Teams

Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor degree in Engineering preferred
- Quality Assurance in the Oil and Gas or heavy manufacturing industry
- Capable and comfortable with handling a heavy workload and performing effectively and efficiently under pressure
- Working knowledge of industry best-practices and lessons learned programs
- Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Platforms (e.g. Word, Excel and PPT)
- Willing to take direction from the QA/QC Manager and take on additional responsibilities and duties determined commensurate with qualifications
- Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English
