QA Manager

Job description / Role

My client is a leading international construction company with an excellent reputation and track record in the Middle East region. They are currently looking to recruit a QA Manager who will be responsible for the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the programme quality plan in accordance with client requirements to ensure the delivery of a quality project. The role will require the application of quality systems and tools to validate and verify the contractually required standards for the project execution. The main responsibilities include;

- Lead and manage a QA/QC team to successfully deliver the programme to the required quality standard.
- Develop, implement and monitor the programme quality plan.
- Communication of the quality plan and its objectives to staff, consultants and contractors.
- Support all consultants, design consultants and construction supervisors in the implementation of the quality plan and monitor their performance on all quality matters.
- Develop and implement audit schedules and plans.
- Develop statistical reports on quality performance.

Requirements

Candidates must have a degree in a related field and have a proven track record in quality management on large roads and infrastructure construction projects. Candidates must have experience in the implementation and compliance to ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 as well as experience managing quality teams on large construction projects in the GCC region. Candidates should have excellent written and spoken English skills and will preferably have a relevant QA qualification.
