The RoleThe RoleOur client is one of one of the largest and most respected food manufactures in the UAE and they are continuing their aggressive growth plans for the remainder of 2009. Increased production means there will be new opportunities in various sectors in the business. They need a skilled Quality Assurance Manager who has over 10 years of industry knowledge to join the team. Are you currently in a QA role in either FMCG or Pharmaceuticals? About the Role: Ensure quality of output through appropriate intervention, inspection, and testing to pre determined quality parameters in respect of: Raw material Packaging material In process materials Finished goods Storage Design and install appropriate quality management systems encompassing receipt and storage of raw and packing materials, in process material, material handling, storage and dispatch of finished goods. |
RequirementsRequirementsProvide periodic feedback on vendors and suppliers to the purchase managers for vendor up gradation and certification. Initiate and document process activity and flow including certification for GMP and customer requirements. Ensure integrity of quality analysis through appropriate training, instrumentation and testing protocols. Carry out Quality audits of finished goods on retail shelf and institute appropriate measures for product integrity through out its shelf life. Investigate customer and consumer complaints to improve production process, product quality and functionality. Ensure appropriate systems for safety and hygiene are followed in all areas of the factory to prevent the occurrence of accidents, occupational illnesses and to prevent contamination of material quality. To carry out periodic analysis of effluents and advise on treatment of effluents so that these are well within the prescribed standards of toxicity. |
