Job description / Role
We are seeking a QA/QC engineer for a project relating to an accommodation rig and the complete refurbishment on the HVAC side of things.
- Ensure the project plan and procedures are activated at site. Perform inspections of installations.
- Develop and maintain inspection procedures and techniques, throughout the construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
- Report on daily inspection and testing activities and issuing non-conformance reports when the specification or procedural requirements are not met.
- Maintain inspection and testing records.
- Conduct surveillance on the inspection tests required in the technical provisions of the specification.
- Carry out the preparatory, initial and follow up inspections.
- Ensure that all the materials purchased and processed for the manufacturing are handled in a manner that ensures that no damage or deterioration occurs.
- Responsible for establishing the requirements for the handling of products.
- Ensure that all personnel obtain the information they need to execute production in accordance with customer requirements
Requirements
- Holding a mechanical engineering qualification.
- Autocad experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar position within oil&gas industry(or marine).
- Team player who can work to deadlines and be flexible in respect of working hours.
- Understanding of clients needs and goals.
- Must have good English both spoken and written.
- Max 45 years of age
