Job description / Role
- Prepare Inspection & Test Plan, as the work schedule requires.
- Prepare suitable check sheets for inspection purposes.
- Provide independent reporting line to Project Manager regarding all aspects of quality.
- Advising the Project Manger of all project quality assurance and quality control aspects and interface problems that affect the disciplined operation of the project
- Make adequate arrangements for the collation and storage of quality records. Ensure the timely submitting of materials for approval.
- Ensure maintenance of records of the construction activities. Respond to audits carried out by the Client, Consultant, and Main Contractor or AFE internal auditors.
- Arrange for the ongoing preparation of any project quality dossiers required by the Engineer at the time of contract completion.
- Arrange for the necessary procedures/method to be put in place so that all materials supplied are properly controlled and transported to site.
Requirements
You should have a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and good communication skills. Furthermore, you should have at lease 5 years of experience in a contracting company in the Gulf.
