Job description / Role
1- Implement and maintain QPMs Quality Assurance & Control systems on client project site
2- Ensure timely quality management, tracking and control at project sites
3- Set up project-specific QA/QC plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and method statements.
4- Conduct regular inspections to monitor the progress of contractor work as per defined quality standards
5-Implement timely and appropriate corrective, preventive and defect repair actions in case of deviations
6- Attend project meetings and represent all quality control issues and actions.
7- Synergize with the project commissioning team to ensure that all projects are meticulously commissioned to deliver world class standards of quality to QPM clients
8- Meet client to obtain feedback on QPMs QA/QC methodologies and outcomes and use the same to make appropriate modifications to site QA/QC program.
9- Monitoring equipment and materials (documentation, insurance etc. ..)
Requirements
Graduate in Engineering with over 5 years of experience which 3 years are in QA/QC, in Qatar
Quality control policies and procedures
QA/QC processes in construction management
QA/QC techniques and tools
QTPs and method statements
QA/QC planning
Construction project management methodologies
Experience in civil engineering
Knowledge in QCS 2010 (Qatar Construction Specification 2010)
