QA/QC Manager

Job description / Role

- To work for an International main contractor based in Doha, Qatar.
- Plans and schedules of program of Internal Quality Audits to evaluate the status and effectiveness of the Quality Management System. Also undertakes audits of sub-contractors and suppliers acting as lead auditor;
- Responsible for the Management of the QA/QC Department staff which comprises site based teams;
- Responsible for reviewing, approving and signing off all Project Procedures and Project Quality Plans;
- Responsible for providing technical assistance/ training to site personnel on the means of achieving quality control and quality product;
- Authorized to audit all works, to determine staff adherence to procedures and to issue Non-conformance Reports. Directly responsible to the Project Director on all matters associated with QA/QC;
- Setting up and monitoring quality systems including Quality Control Procedures and Plans for building construction projects;
- Handle all quality issues with project management assisting in quality improvement initiatives;
- Enforcing the QA system on Sub-contractors/ Suppliers;

Requirements

Graduate
- Architectural/ Civil Engineering;
- Total experience in the range of 15-20 years, with 05 years a Manager
- Excellent knowledge of ISO

Salary:
QR 35 40,000.00 inclusive of accommodation, local transport

Nationality
- Preferably Indian/ Pakistani/ Turkish/ Greek/ East European/ Filipino due to visa allocation by ministry

Availability
- At the earliest
