A QA/QC Manager is required in Dubai, UAE by a company that provides services to the Oil & Gas industry.

Candidate needs to be self-motivated driven individual who will be required to supervise the entire quality assurance and quality control function. QA/QC Manager will be providing strategic leadership and vision to the department while at the same time establishing best practices and guidelines in the area of quality assurance & ensuring adherence to standards in all the manufacturing activities being performed at the company. QA/QC Manager will also be responsible for managing the QMS, API monogram program, product standards and customer specifications. The incumbent will need to ensure that all enquiries are quoted within the specified timescales taking into consideration all aspects of cost that may be incurred to perform the job. Requirements

• Engineering Background (Degree / Diploma) with a certification in Quality Management
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas sector involving Machining, Welding & NDT activities or 4 years in a similar post preferably in service sector.
• Qualified QMS Lead Auditor ¡V IRCA registered Training Course Certificate
• Certified Welding inspector (AWS-CWI or CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2)
• NDT Qualification in MT, PT, RT & UT
• Familiar with API 6A, 16A, 16C, 16D, 5CT & 7-1 Specifications
• Familiar with ASME Sec. II (materials), Sec. V (NDT), VIII Div. 1, Sec. IX (Welding), Hammer lug unions and NACE MR 0175 / ISO 15156 requirements.
• Vast experience of maintaining and development integrated management systems.
• Strong product knowledge about Blow out Preventer¡¦s, control systems, manifolds, Valves & rotating equipment
• Background in documentation, calibration and inspection
• Strong influencing skills, interpersonal, leadership skills, ability to communicate at all levels & PC and presentation skills
• Ability to work together, share experience and train & motivate sub-ordinates
• Self starter and ability to make technical decisions
