Job description / Role

Our client, a leading international PMCM construction firm from the US, is seeking a QAQC Manager to join a large infrastructure project based in a major city within Saudi Arabia.
Reporting to the Project Director and Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Conduct and/or Participate in Client Quality or Technical Compliance Audits for Contractors, Sub-Contractors or Vendors.
• Review the Contract documents for each Construction Package in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advise the Contracts Manager of any deficiency.
• Review QA/QC site organization, key personnel CVs as submitted by the Contractors and advise the Project Director/Manager.
• Review QA/QC Procedures and Document Control as submitted by the Contractors and ensure implementation is in compliance with Contract requirements.
• Review Inspection Test Plans as submitted by the Contractors and ensure compliance with Contract requirements.
• Attend all activities on site and ensure their compliance with QA/QC procedure in respect of the format signed off by Contractor’s QA/QC Manager.
• Ensure traceability of all materials and equipment from purchasing up to delivery on site.
• Check all materials and equipment as delivered on site and ensure its compliance with approved materials and specification.
• Closely monitor site activities and fully coordinate with PM discipline engineers on a daily basis issuing NCRs in case of non-compliance. Report to Project Director/Manager in case of shortage of skilled laborers and/or site supervision staff.
• Participate with PM staff in assessing Concession Requests and Field Design Changes as submitted by Contractor.
• Participate with PM staff in reviewing the Close-Out Report as submitted by Contractors.
• Coordinate with all disciplines/Contractors for QA/QC.
Requirements
Attributes we seek are:
Degree in relevant field from a recognized, western university
15+ years experience in construction industry in QAQC
experience working on large infrastructure projects such as Hospitals and Airports
Strong written and spoken English skills
