Job description / Role
Responsible for:
- Monitoring and supervising the piping fabrication activities carried out by the module fabricator.
- Monitor the quality and progress of the work scope and adherence to company and contractor procedures.
- Ensuring that the piping fabrication and assembly activities are carried out to the schedule and highest HSE standards.
- Ensuring necessary HSE reviews are undertaken and identified actions completed.
- Providing weekly progress reports to Construction Manager.
- Participating in fabrication and safety reviews for piping fabrication and assembly works.
- Providing technical support to the project on piping fabrication, installation, commissioning and Hook up.
- Providing input to Project Documents for Piping fabrication / assembly, commissioning and start-up requirements.
- Supporting Hook Up and Commissioning team for load out/in and Start-up.
- Contributing to EP Offshore improvement process and close-out report.
- Ensuring the issuance of appropriate documentation for installation works e.g. requests, permits, isolations, etc
- Co-coordinating closely with all interfaces associated with the EP Clusters Piping.
- Providing input re: operability issue associated with piping layouts, in particular low points, venting, testing, etc.
- Working closely with QA/QC testing and company O&M group
Requirements
- Bachelor/College degree in engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Good command of English language (oral & written)
- Minimum 7 years work experience with proven track record in oil & gas construction
- Preferably with experience in GCC countries (Aramco experience will be added advantage)
