Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Interface & collaborate with the client’s business & technical teams, to initiate and manage tasks for supporting requirement clarifications, development & execution of test plans.
• Onsite Team lead role. Should be able to coordinate & lead activities with offshore teams in order to support QA and testing for Airline systems and applications. Works with QA team for performance and functional testing associated with concurrent development projects.
• This includes the development and execution of test strategy, effort estimates & project management for testing activities, test plans and test scripts. Responsible for planning, execution and communication of test results including defects with escalation to resolution, & supporting triage with the airline client teams & external vendors such as Sabre.
• Works with minimal supervision and must be able to initiate and manage the multiple tasks throughout the project.
• Experience with Sabre Airline Solutions, various testing automation tools and defect tracking tools.
• Apply test automation design patterns and design, develop and automate test cases for front end, backend and integration features for Sabre systems.
• Own the delivery of test suites and test automation frameworks
• Able to apply business knowledge and prepare test scenarios
• Experience in test case development and test execution (Manual, regression and ad-hoc testing)
• Experience in applying defect life cycle and managing defects

Requirements

• Experience in the Airline industry, working with project development teams and fast paced environments.
• Excellent organization/planning, interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to effectively manage priorities.
• Positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Should have experience working in multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environments.
• Added plus will be any experience in GDS (Sabre/ Amadeus) products such as Reservations/ Ticketing/ Activations.
• Experience with testing tools, bug reporting tools, project management, release management, requirements analysis, SDLC & project scheduling.
• Any experience in the following will be an added plus:
• Ticketing, check-in and departure control systems (AIMS, sabresonic kiosk, Enterprise Safety Management System (ESMS), Crew Kiosk, Load manager, SABRE Watchlist Manager.
• Check-in (Agent, KISOK, Web, Mobile), Seats, Baggage Handling, PNL, ADL, Boarding Pass, PAX Manifest, Security Messages, Boarding Control, Go show, Weight and Balance, Irregular Operation will be an added plus
• Rational SDLC Tools – Rational Functional Tester, Rational Performance Tester, Rational Team Concert and Rational Quality Manager
• Experience in Sabre reservation systems (SabreSonic web, Sabre Web check-in, SabreSonic mobile, Car and hotel booking systems)
• Experience in Schedule, Availability, Space Control, Booking & Cancellation, PNR, Fares, Seats, Interlining (EDIFACT), Code Share, Married Segments, Customer Loyalty Systems (CLS), Messaging (Type A, Type B), Form of Payment, Special Service Handling (SSR).
• Experience in Experience in E Ticketing - Issuance, Exchange and Re-Issue, Refunds, Void, Interfaces to RES & DCS, Interline E-ticketing, Revenue Accounting interface, , Interlining, Reporting will be an added plus
• Experience in Interfaces - Revenue Accounting and Revenue Management, BSP, GDS, Secured Flight/ APIS/ Crew APIS will be an added plus
• Experience in different modes on ticket booking - Agent, Web and Mobile
