Job description / Role
- Supervises the correct execution of the works in accordance with the technical requirements, the standards, the approved Inspection and Test Plan, Work Method Statement and the risk assessments.
- Reports daily, in writing, to the QC Manager.
- Takes part in inspections together with the construction department, Independent Checking Engineer and the Owners Representative.
- Ensures the completeness and traceability of inspection records.
- Compiles all the Project Quality documents, especially those relating to situations of non-conformity.
- Requests the intervention of the Senior QC Engineer or the QC Manager in the event of difficulties encountered in implementing the QA/QC System.
Requirements
- Level of Education: Civil diploma or Bachelors in Civil Engineering. QA Certificate is a plus.
- Specialties: Large-scale construction, earthworks, road work, bridges, experience of underground works. Experience in testing of concrete, soil, asphalt and waterproofing an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 5 Years International Experience, related experience in Major Roads & Major Infrastructure Projects is a Requirement
- Special knowledge: familiar with BS and ASTM standards, computer literate (MS office).
- Languages: Good to very good English speaking and writing is required.
- Perfect knowledge of usual Office software (Word, Excel, Publisher, Access)
