Job description / Role
Material tractability (Fitting, Pipe & Consumables).
Spool marking and welds marking.
Inspection of Piping fabrication and erection according to client’s specification and Code B31.1 & B31.3
Coordination with Client Inspector for inspection.
Witness of PMI and Hardness test.
Checking of workmanship of Piping fabrication and erection.
Check Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & Procedure Qualification.
Witness of Welder Qualification Test (WQT)
Control of welding material (Electrode, Filler Wire) backing of Low Hydrogen Electrode.
Monitor welder performance and welding activities to ensure work is being carried out in accordance with the approved welding procedure.
Execute PT & RT according to client’s specification and Codes.
Prepare test pack weld summary.
Requirements
Certified Welding Inspector
ASNT Level-II in UT (Ultrasonic Testing)
Diploma in mechanical engineering
knowledge of steel fabrication
Continues of HSE
Minimum 2 years QA/QC experience
