The Role


The Role


• Manages and Directs all Quality Control Operation in the plant and on other related 3rd party Operations (Lab Testing – Inspection – Quality Engineering – Technical Support – Manufacturing Technology Training – 3rd Party Quality Control for co-packing Operation).
• Ensure that all the finished products conform with the established standards of quality and the minimum cost and the applicable regulatory standards are met
• Ability to develop, maintain, update in - house technical standards & specifications.
• Reduce the customer complaints in conjunction with the production and development departments.
• Quality planning and resourcing for projects to ensure they are suitably resourced with sufficient and capable quality management expertise.
• Conduct regular check on analysis results of finished, Raw and packaging materials.
• Release Raw and Packaging Material into the operation after ensuring analysis results are within the set standard specs
• Responsible for supplier evaluation system in the factory.
• Monitor performance and minimize risk through the quality KPI’s and internal audit processes.
• Document and implement the quality assurance program based on corporate and division policies.
• Assure quality requirements are adequately defined at all functional levels.
• Review customer requirements to assure compliance
• Provide quality-oriented leadership in achieving plant quality objectives
• Analyze both internal and external quality failure data and trends, and initiate appropriate action.
• Develop, implement and maintain an adequate quality plan for all purchased material, equipment, parts and processing.
• Provide quality technical assistance to all functional organization suppliers in resolving quality related problems. Assess compatibility of modes of distribution with company operating standards
• Ensure the compliance of storage condition for Raw, Pack & FG with the standards.
• Ensuring FIFO practice at warehouses and distributor.
• Measuring and analysis for QDI for Company in factory as well as on shelf, and initiating corrective actions accordingly.
• Measuring QDI vs. Competitors with analysis for defects and action plans accordingly.
• Ensuring hygiene practice across Factory and premises, for all functions.
• Assessing and monitoring of Calibration Plans across the factory.
• Assessing and monitoring of Pest control Plans across factory premises.
• Ensuring Proper segregation and handling for waste across production area in accordance with standards for hygiene and environment.
• Assessing supplier through Audits for compliance with Quality standards and hygienic practice.
• Provide service data and collect feedback from customers , and Attend meeting with customers on service levels

Requirements


Requirements


• 8-11 years experience in QA/QC development, implementation and management in a projects environment.
• Experience in FMCG Industry needed.
• Relevant training in ISO 9000:2000, HACCP Series, GMP, Codex, & BRC.
• Good organizational skills and initiative.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to use problem solving techniques.
• Manage, Direct and develop the Quality Staff, setting training plan and coaching.
• Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic.
• Good computer skills
